Available online from 22nd March, Halfords are launching a new range of town bicycles for women designed by Olympic gold medallist and British Olympic track bike cyclist Victoria Pendleton.
Halfords have released pictures today of Pendleton with the baby blue Somerby model which is an unapologetic town bike, complete with ready fitted rack and mudguards.
A far cry from her the aerodynamic track bikes she usually rides competitively.
Halfords have already achieved great success with their range of bicycles design by ex-pro Chris Boardman. This deal will no doubt increase awareness and profile of Halfords bikes for women.
Hopefully the combination of a successful Olympic games and her name on this range of bikes can only encourage more people to cycle to work.
